So grateful for being the winners of Sami Grand Prix 2022 (Sami Melodifestival) with Ingá-Máret Gaup-Juuso and our song Dovdameahttumii last week! 💯💫💛🌟🥇 It was a very nerve wracking final broadcasted on SVT play and NRK and we are beyond grateful to everyone who supported us in the public voting! 🙏 Listen to the song on Spotify👉 https://spoti.fi/3IpCPZh and watch the full performance on Youtube below!   The song is written by us and Ingá-Máret Gaup-Juuso with production, mixing, master by Paul Dubrovsky, Stein Austrud and Roald Raasberg. It all started with an idea in English and some joik ideas by us last year and when we involved Ingá-Máret she added the Sami language and her exceptional joik voice to the song. Then we got the opportunity to involve Stein to work on an excellent arrangement and organic sound with "nyckelharpa". 2019 in review! This year is coming to an end and we're going to give all the up's and down's and share all the goodies in one blog post, so let's start! 👍💥💖Just like last year it's been very productive, we met many new exciting people and did a lot of great cooperations and releases! For Eurovision we competed with 5 great songs and managed to reach Serbia as a new country. We released almost 100 Youtube videos and reached 1 million views + 16 singles on Spotify and iTunes. There has been many international TV performances during the years, but now we had another approach and worked very hard to reach Swedish TV for one of our songs and to do the backing vocals live. This has been a long-time goal and dream for us that has seemed almost impossible to reach despite a lot of efforts. We came very close and were on the verge of signing the contract. Tomorrow is the Mello final for 2019, who do you think will take the winning place? Tonight is the MELFEST WKND STHLM 2019 PRE PARTY at the club Estelle and we had the pleasure of joining the press conference meet and greet with the artists and also get an interview about our own journey. Melodifestivalklubben www.melodifestivalklubben.se (where we have been members since 15 years back!!) together with Peter and Erik hosted the party and we got to meet up with winners from 2019 from Norway, France, Denmark and also national selection artists from Finland and Lithuania and had a great time. All the artists are doing performances with their Eurovision songs on the pre party so the fans will have a chance to meet up with their stars.
