Bronze in Baltic song contest

After two songs in Eurovision Belarus and a few attempts we finally got the chance to take part in the Baltic Song Contest in Karlshamn, Sweden and to meet Janet in our own country! We received the bronze and prize money in the contest with You will be here and the Russian song Davaice sambraremska razam. We were met with great hospitality at the yearly Summer festival held in the south of Sweden in a beautiful venue in the Town house. The contest was also broadcasted on TV by the arrangers. After the show Janet also visited us in Stockholm for some sightseeing.

A professional live orchestra were playing our songs on stage. Watch live here:
Great audience and Summer vibe on stage!

It was a big challenge for us to do the backing vocals in Russian for Janet's song Davaice sambraremska razam. But we love to sing in different languages and this time we had no option as the arrangers had the decision of picking songs and wanted her to perform in her own language and also something in a more Russian style. It ended up to be a good combination to do this song together with our Eurovision song You will be here on the gala evening.

All the talented artists from all around Europe taking part in the competition.
Having fun in the sun with the jury members at the rehearsals
We had a blast performing the songs and changing costumes on stage!

Photosession by the sea together with the manager of another artist who were happy to take our pictures
Rehearsals were made at the local nearby theatre where a jury watched us perform for the first time
The first gala evening we did both songs where we removed the black skirts after You will be here to have short white dresses on the second song and at the final show we performed the Russian song
Great to meet up with Rebecka Karlsson, the singer of our official pride song Surrender for Malmö who won the Junior Baltic Song Contest this year
After the festival and competition we took the flight back to Stockholm where Janet spent one extra night before she left home to Minsk. We took some time to do sightseeing in Stockholm and had a blast. It was quite a challenge to make it possible to get Janet to travel here because of the requirement of Visa and special invitations from Karlshamn city which was made at the last minute. All the other artists took a flight to Copenhagen and train to Karlshamn, but we managed to negotiate with the arrangers for Janet to go to and through Stockholm instead which we all were happy for.
Janet and Linda's daughter Elin really enjoyed each others company
The team of songwriters behind the song You will be here met for a joint dinner at Ångbåtsbryggan in the central of Stockholm
